20 million stem cells were injected through a jugular vein on a patient who became infected with the COVID-19

   Dr. Hamid Reza Rahimi, Molecular mediecine specialist of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences stated: 20 million stem cells were injected through a jugular vein on a patient who became infected with the #COVID-19.

   A faculty member of the Department of Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences stated that Stem cell therapy is one of the modern medical aplications that is performed for various diseases and a group of them are patients suffer from COVID-19 with the acute respiratory syndrome.

  Cell therapy is the transplantation of a stem cells from donor for regenerating tissues or immunomodulation. Stem Cells can exert therapeutic effects through a variety of methods, and new cells can replace damaged cells and tissue at the site of injury.
