Mashhad University of Medical Sciences among Top Universities of the Country: Google Scholar

According to the results of google scholar citations in July 2017, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences ranked fourth in Iran.

According to WebDa, Vice Deputy for Research and Technology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “this ranking system evaluates research and educational presence of universities in the web based on their rate of citation”.

Dr. Mohsen Tafaghodi noted: “therefore, indexed profiles of universities and research centers are detected in Google Scholar and based on citations of the 10 most cited researchers of universities in Google Scholar Citations Service and their names and e-mails affiliated with the particular university the ranking takes place”.

Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Mashhad University of Medical Sciences ranked first to fourth, respectively in the medical sciences group.

The results that are available at www.webometrics.info show the ranking of 46 medical universities in the country.

Total citations of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences amount to 27256 and it ranks 1340 in the world.
