According to the latest results published by the ESI (Essential Science Indicators), announced in November 2017, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences had a significant upgrade in quality (citations) from the same period last year (November 2016). According to WEBDA, the Deputy of Research and Technology of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “According to the report, in terms of number of citations, the rank of university has raised from 6th to 4th among universities of medical sciences of the country.” Dr. Mohsen Tafaghodi noted: “Accordingly, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences grew by 60% in terms of total citations and increased by 30% in the total number of university papers.” He added: “Another significant point is that the number of most cited articles has increased by 86 percent comparing to the last year.” It should be noted that this valid ranking is based on the analysis of articles published in the ISI journals. |
