Biotechnology Research Center was licensed by the Academic Expansion Council of Ministry of Health in 2004, when a few members of the university's Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Center formed its original staff. A number of pharmaceutical products developed at the center are currently manufactured and available on the market, indicating that its members are focused on both product development and knowledge production. Sina Curcumin, SinaDoxosome and some other pharmaceutical are examples, brought to Iranian market several years ago. Staff members have also gained significant individual achievements at the national level in previous years - five have previously won various awards at Razi Festival. Award winners of 23rd Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences were honored in a ceremony held on January 27 in Tehran. |
