Associate professor of department of surgery at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “fellowship program of colorectal surgery is going to be created within few years and as endocrine surgery sub-specialty is becoming global, we are to create fellowship in this field, too”. Talking to WebDa regarding prospects of surgery in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Ali Jangju said: “fellowship program of colorectal surgery is going to be established in the university in the near future in order to treat patients with gastrointestinal and colon cancers, elimination disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction”. Grounds to establish colorectal surgery fellowship are being set He said: “in this line, two faculty members have acquired necessary expertise using advanced minimally invasive techniques based on modern treatments for elimination disorders and thus, the grounds for establishing fellowship in this field are being set”.
