The 1st National Congress of the Latest News on Thyroid and Metabolic Syndrome will be held in and hosted by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. According to WEBDA, this congress will be held from April 18 to 20, 2018 on diabetes and pre-diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome, lipid disorders, thyroid disease, and thyroid cancer latest News. The Secretary of the National Congress of the Latest News on Thyroid and Metabolic Syndrome stated that with the development of industry and technology, physical activities have decreased, which is among the main causes of obesity in industrial and developing countries. Dr. Zohreh Mousavi pointed out that the role of changes in eating habits, stress, and other factors, which are followed by metabolic syndrome and diabetes, cannot be denied. This faculty member of Mashhad University of Medical Science reiterated that it is attempted in this congress to provide proper solutions for decreased the risk factors of metabolic syndrome and examine diagnostic and therapeutic advances as well as thyroid disorders. Dr. Mousavi pointed out that this congress will be held with the attempts of the Research Center for Endocrine Glands and Metabolism of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in cooperation with Iran’s Society for Endocrinology.
