Vice Deputy of Research and Technology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences announced that 3059 articles have been written by researchers and faculty members of this university. According to WebDa, explaining that these articles have been registered in Pajoohan software of the university, Dr. Mohsen Tafaghodi said: “of total number of articles, 1720 were indexed in ISI, 403 in PUBMED, 285 in SCOPUS, 224 in CHEMICAL ABSTRACT, BIOLOGICAL ABSTRACT, EMBASE, CINAHL and 413 articles were indexed in other specialist websites”. Mentioning that 25 journals are now published in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, he said: “last year, 4 journals were indexed in ISI and one journal was indexed in SCOPUS”. Refering to h-index, Vice Deputy of Research and Technology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “Mashhad University of Medical Sciences ranks four in terms of this index and in terms of top 25 percent articles in the world index we are ranked third after Tehran and Shahid Beheshti medical universities”. Dr. Tafaghodi mentioned that citations to articles of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences between 2012 and 2016 enhanced status of the university. He said: “in the meantime, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences is the first university in the country in terms of international cooperation index”. Referring to SCImago ranking, Vice Deputy of Research and Technology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “according to this ranking, the university was fourth in 2017 and in terms of top 1 percent articles it is the second university in the country”. |
