Superintendent of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “Mashhad University of Medical Sciences’ logo in educationiran.ir has been one of the most visited logos and we managed to admit 60 graduate (resident, PhD, and M.A.) students to this university within 2 years”. According to WebDa, in the fifth meeting of vice-chancellors and international managers of medical sciences of the country, Dr. Darabi said: “international communications in today’s world is fundamental to universities that try to express themselves to the world in terms of their academic work”. “Perhaps it might be said that the issue of international relations was not much important among universities”, he continued, “whereas, in the eleventh government, with attempts made by vice-deputy for education at the Ministry of Health, internationalization and earning credibility has turned to a common goal of education system reform plan”. Superintendent of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “in this line, universities upload their logos to educationiran.ir and introduce it to the world”. Dr. Darabi said: “if we are to gain international credibility and successfully attract foreign students, we should establish an independent organization in the university to manage the issue”. He said: “therefore, people who are familiar with international relations can introduce the university to countries of the world and admit foreign students and gain international credibility; in this line, vice-deputy for education at the Ministry of Health has given many universities the permit to admit foreign students”. Superintendent of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “thus, necessary permits have been issued in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences to admit students in 150 various majors and different university programs that are approved by the Expansion Council; accordingly, 30 percent of this capacity can be allocated to foreigner students”. Dr. Darabi said: “as different majors were not ready to admit foreigner students especially at the level of graduate studies and due to lack of professors proficient in English particularly in short-term courses and clinical majors, this number dropped to 20 percent in educational council of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences”. He said: “finally, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences managed to employ professors who can be English language supervisors for foreigner students in 33 majors to fill the gap of lack of such professors”. Referring to the most visited logo of medical sciences universities of the country in educationiran.ir, superintendent of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: “Mashhad University of Medical Sciences’ logo has been one of the most visited logos of educationiran.ir and we were able to admit 60 graduate (resident, Ph.D. and M.A.) students in two years”. Dr. Darabi said: “Mashhad University of Medical Sciences has admitted 270 foreigner students from neighboring countries”. |
